Moving your pet to the United States takes some planning! Here is a checklist of things you will need:

An original health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian within 10 days of travel
A signed rabies vaccination certificate indicating the rabies vaccination is at least 30 days old but less than one year old
A list of current annual vaccinations
A CDC Import Permit if your dog is coming from a High-Risk Rabies Country

Upon arrival, and depending on your pet’s country of origin, other documentation and potential quarantine time at a licensed kennel may be required. Sounds like a lot to keep track of right? Don’t worry, we’re here to help!
